Barbie Volleyball Dress

First you see a plain athletic set on the court, no color, no pattern, in Barbie Volleyball Dress. Pick a jersey top and the shade floods the whole outfit at once, since the shorts and headband are tied to match until you break the set apart piece by piece.

Tops range from a cropped jersey to a halter swim top, paired with shorts, bike-length leggings or a pleated tennis-style skirt. A separate row holds sneakers, high socks and a visor, plus a runway rack of dressier pieces, a satin slip dress or a fringe skirt, for once the match is over. Everything layers, so a swim top can sit under an open jacket, or a skirt can go straight over the shorts for extra coverage.

Unlike a straight makeover screen, this runway dress up game moves the finished look off the sand and onto a runway strip for a walk-through, so the same outfit gets seen two ways, court-side and catwalk. A round closes on that runway pose, camera angle low, ready to screenshot or start over with a fresh color scheme.

Matching the headband or visor to the jersey instead of the shorts keeps the eye on the face first. A skirt over leggings reads cleaner on the runway walk than shorts alone, since the hem catches the light differently at that low camera angle. Breaking the preset palette apart, mixing a bold top with neutral bottoms, usually looks less flat than keeping everything the same shade.
