Bffs Venice Carnival Celebrations

Feathered masks hang along the top of the screen when Bffs Venice Carnival Celebrations opens, and the first choice is which one goes on the friend closest to the camera. That mask sets a color to build the rest of her look around before the other two friends get their turn.

The wardrobe runs through masks, gowns, gloves, and hairstyles for all three friends at once, with pieces like a feathered half-mask, a brocade ball gown, and elbow-length satin gloves sitting in their own tabs. Jewelry and headpieces layer on last, so a jeweled comb or a tricorn hat sits over hair that has already been styled underneath it.

What separates this dress up game from a solo closet is the group itself: every choice gets checked against the other two friends standing beside it, since a carnival crowd works best when the costumes talk to each other. A round ends with the trio posed together on a canal backdrop, three finished looks side by side instead of one outfit alone.

Start with the masks, since their colors are the easiest thread to carry into the gowns and gloves afterward. Keep the three outfits in jewel tones that sit near each other on the color wheel, like a deep teal next to a plum, so the group reads as one carnival instead of three unrelated costumes. The hair menu hides a few updos under a scroll arrow that is easy to miss, and those styles hold a mask in place far better than the loose options at the top of the list.
