Phone Case DIY 5

A blank phone case sits in the middle of the screen when the game loads, with a row of tool icons along the bottom. The first choice is usually a base color, tapped straight onto the case, and the fill happens instantly so you see the whole surface change. From there the case is yours to mess with.

The toolkit covers paint, stickers, charms, and small add-on shapes. There are gradient fills, glitter swatches, and plain pastels for backgrounds. Sticker tabs hold things like stars, bows, fruit, hearts, and little smiley faces. Charms snap onto the top corner of the case and actually look like they dangle off the phone. Pieces layer on top of each other, so a big sticker can sit behind a charm and a decal can cover part of the paint job.

The twist in this makeover-style character creator is the finale: once the case is done, a character holds the phone up and you see the design in her hand, with the look she's wearing matched to it. A round ends with that showcase image instead of just the case alone, so the accessory reads as part of a full outfit.

Work in layers, background first, big shapes second, tiny decals last, or the small stuff gets buried. Two or three stickers placed with space between them read better than ten crowded together. And grab the matching charm before you finalize, since it ties the top of the case into the rest of the look.
