Each character has their own set of categories. The princess gets ball gowns, layered skirts, sleeves, long hair styles like twin tails and a side braid, crowns, and small jewelry. The prince gets coats, capes, trousers, boots, and shorter styled hair. Both share accessory shelves with flowers, swords, and handheld props. The pieces stack in clear layers, so a cape sits over a coat and hair redraws itself around a crown instead of clipping through it.

The couple mechanic is the difference here. A solo character creator only has to look good on one person, but this game keeps two on screen at once, and the finished round shows them together as a matched pair with the option to save the look. Colors that clash on one character look like an obvious mistake when they are standing next to each other, which changes how you pick everything.

Start with the princess, settle on her gown color, then pull the prince's coat and cape from the same color family so they read as a set. Pick hair before crowns, since some updos sit awkwardly under the bigger tiaras. If the pair still looks off, change his cape first, because it covers the most area and shifts the whole balance of the scene.
