Barbee Summer Vacation

Sun hits a striped towel and a beach hut in the background before Barbee Summer Vacation even asks for a first choice, which is almost always the swimsuit — a bikini, a one-piece, or a high-waisted two-piece. That single pick decides how much of the next few tabs, like cover-ups and sarongs, will actually show once they're layered on top.

The wardrobe breaks into swimwear, cover-ups, footwear, and accessories, with each tab holding several pieces instead of one default option. Cover-ups include a sheer kaftan, a knotted sarong, and a denim shirt tied at the waist, and all three sit over the swimsuit rather than replacing it. Footwear swaps between flip-flops and strappy sandals, while accessories add a straw sun hat, seashell earrings, and a woven beach bag.

A lot of fashion dress up games stop at a static photo, but this one sends the finished outfit down a short runway laid over the sand, so the swimsuit and cover-up combination gets seen in motion before the round ends. That walk is the finish line — there's no photo afterward, just the outfit moving past the beach hut.

Swimsuit color decided first makes the sarong or kaftan easier to match instead of guessing at what's hidden underneath. Sandals read more natural against a sand runway than heels do. Saving the sun hat for last also keeps it from covering up whatever hairstyle got picked earlier in the tabs.
