Black Pink New Year Eve Concert

Bright stage lights and a countdown clock frame the opening screen of Black Pink New Year Eve Concert, and picking a performer comes before anything else. Choosing a hairstyle first changes the whole silhouette, since a sleek ponytail reads differently under the lights than loose waves. Once a face and hair are locked in, the empty stage outfit slot is the next thing waiting to be filled.

The wardrobe splits into stage outfits, footwear, and glam separately, with sequined bodysuits, cropped jackets, and platform boots sitting in their own rows. Makeup and jewelry sit apart from hair, so a bold lip and a stack of hoop earrings can be added without touching the hairstyle already chosen. A cropped jacket layers over the bodysuit and can be removed again without losing anything underneath.

The angle this idol-style dress up game takes that most makeover screens skip is the concert stage itself, with lighting and a countdown that make the finished look feel like it is about to perform instead of standing still. A round ends with the styled idol posed on stage as the countdown hits zero, saved as a finished look rather than judged against a score.

Sequins on the outfit read best under the stage lighting when the makeup stays bold too, so a bright lip pairs well with a shiny bodysuit instead of a plain one. Locking in the hairstyle before trying on hats or headpieces avoids restyling twice, since some headpieces sit awkwardly over certain styles. Posing before the countdown clock hits zero locks in the finished look, so it helps to finish choices with time to spare.
