Christmas Tree Decoration and Dress Up

You open onto a room split in two: a bare evergreen tree on one side and a character waiting on the other. The game asks you to start with the tree, so the ornament tray is already open. Click an ornament, then click a branch, and it hangs right where you placed it. That free placement is the whole appeal, because two players will end up with two very different trees.

The tree toolkit covers ornament balls in several colors, string lights, garland, a star or angel for the top, and wrapped presents to scatter around the base. The character side works like a smaller wardrobe: winter coats, holiday sweaters, skirts and pants, boots, a Santa hat, a knit scarf, earrings, and a couple of hairstyles including a low side braid. Everything on the tree can overlap and stack, and the outfit pieces layer in the usual order with the coat over the sweater and the scarf on top of both.

Where most games in the Christmas dress up genre pick one job, this one chains the two together, so the room you decorated becomes the backdrop for the character you dressed. When both halves are done, a finish button pulls the camera back and shows the full scene as one picture: tree, presents, and character standing beside it, ready to keep as a holiday card.

Work top to bottom on the tree, placing the star first so you know how much height the ornaments have to fill. Put the lights on before the balls, since the lights sit behind and look wrong layered over them. Then pick one ornament color to repeat on the outfit, like red earrings against red balls, and the whole scene locks together.
