Gloomy Princess Favorite Toy

Gloomy Princess Favorite Toy opens on a girl in dark eyeliner sitting in a room full of plush animals and closet doors. The first choice is the toy itself, not the outfit, a stuffed bat or a one-eyed teddy bear, and it stays cradled in her arms as you move through the rest of the screens. Picking a bright pink bunny instead of a black cat changes the mood before a single dress goes on.

The closet splits into dresses, cardigans, tights and shoes, then a separate rack for hair and makeup. Dresses run from a torn tulle skirt to a velvet gown with lace sleeves, and most of them layer under a cropped denim jacket or an oversized cardigan without clipping. Hair options swap between a messy space bun and twin buns with safety pins, and the makeup tray has dark plum lipstick, smudged eyeliner and a scatter of face gems for the cheekbones.

This princess dress up game keeps the toy you picked first in frame the whole way through, tucked under an arm or peeking out of a bag pocket by the final shot, instead of forgetting it once the outfit is done. A round ends with a single portrait of the finished princess and her plush, framed like a polaroid, not a runway walk or a score.

Match the toy's color to one piece of clothing instead of the whole outfit, a black cat against a pale dress reads better than black on black. Try the safety-pin hairstyle with the torn tulle skirt, since the rougher hair suits the ripped fabric more than the smooth buns do. The face gems sit under a small tab easy to miss next to the lipstick swatches, and a couple placed near one eye photographs better than a symmetric pair.
