What is Model Makeover: Fashion War?
Your model stands on one side of the screen and a rival stylist's model stands on the other when Model Makeover: Fashion War starts, and the first pick, a base outfit color, sets the tone for everything you add after. Choose something bold and the rest of the outfit tends to follow in bright, loud pieces, choose something muted and the whole look stays quieter. The rival's model is already changing on the other half of the screen while you decide.
The wardrobe runs in the usual rows, tops from crop shirts to blazers, bottoms from pleated skirts to skinny jeans, a shoe row of heels and sneakers, and a small accessory shelf of sunglasses, bags and layered necklaces. A makeup panel covers foundation shade, eyeshadow and lip color separately from the clothing. Pieces stack, so a blazer sits over a crop top and a long necklace lands over both without hiding either.
The head-to-head format separates this makeover game from a solo dress-up round: your finished outfit gets judged next to the rival's instead of standing alone. A match ends with both looks shown side by side and a winner called, sometimes over a few rounds in a row.
Checking what color the rival is leaning into first lets you pick a contrasting palette instead of an accidental match. Pairing the makeup tone to the outfit's dominant color usually scores better than picking a random lip shade. Locking in accessories last keeps you from covering up a necklace with a scarf added afterward.
