My Heart Break Time - Makeover Game

Mascara streaks and messy hair are the first thing you see in My Heart Break Time, since the character starts the makeover mid-cry. Wiping her face clean with the first cleaning tool clears the smudges before any makeup goes on, and that single click already changes her expression.

Tools are grouped into stages: a cleaning stage with a cotton pad, face wash, and tissue, then makeup running from concealer and blush to false lashes and a matte lipstick, then hair, and finally an outfit. A cropped cardigan sits at one end of the outfit rack and a going-out dress at the other, and each piece layers over whatever hairstyle you've already picked.

Most makeover games start with a clean face already in place; this one makes you earn it first, turning the cleanup into its own stage instead of a loading screen. Finishing the last outfit choice ends the round with a before-and-after reveal of the character's new look.

Once the cleaning stage is finished, the makeup tab reads cleaner, since leftover mascara smudges show through lighter concealer shades if you skip ahead. Pairing bold lashes with a soft lip keeps the face from looking overdone, and going heavy on both usually reads worse in the final look. The tissue icon tucked in the corner of the cleaning stage is easy to overlook, though it's the one that clears redness around the eyes.
