Before you touch anything else, the game asks you to pick a base dress from a row of thumbnails along the bottom. Tap one and it appears on her instantly, no loading, no confirm screen. From there the rest of the wardrobe opens up and you start building the outfit piece by piece.

The closet is split into categories across the top: gowns and tops, skirts, shoes, hairstyles, crowns and tiaras, jewelry, and a makeup section with lipstick and eye shadow shades. There are flowy maxi dresses, a cropped floral bolero, strappy sandals, a side braid with little flowers woven in, and layered pearl necklaces. Most pieces layer the way you would expect, so a shrug sits over a dress and a necklace sits over the neckline. Colors can be swapped on many items, which is where a lot of the fun hides.

The twist is the runway walk at the end. Once you finish the outfit, she turns and walks the catwalk while the camera follows, and the game rates the look on how well your pieces match in color and theme. That scoring step is what separates this from a plain dress up game, since every choice actually feeds into the final walk.

Work in one direction: dress, hair, makeup, accessories, in that order, so the accessories respond to the outfit instead of fighting it. Pick two colors at most and repeat both in the shoes and the jewelry to lift your match score. And try the flower crown with the side braid before anything else, that combination reads as very spring.
