Sad Princess Nina

The screen opens on a princess slumped on a stone bench, arms crossed, rain clouds painted behind her. Sad Princess Nina has her looking away from every color tried at first, until something lands that seems to fit the moment. The first pick is almost always the dress itself, and her posture straightens the instant the right one gets chosen.

The closet splits into predictable stacks: dresses in solid jewel tones sit next to a few pastel gowns with tulle skirts, and cardigans and capes wait below for layering over the top. A separate row holds tiaras, a beaded choker, and drop earrings, then flats and heeled slippers. Hair comes as loose waves, a low bun, or a braided crown, and swapping a cape over a strapless gown changes the whole silhouette.

A mood meter sits quietly in the corner of this princess dress up game, tracking whether Nina approves of the direction an outfit is headed instead of just letting clicks pile up. Enough approving nods in a row and her expression shifts from a pout toward something closer to a smile, and the round ends holding on that portrait instead of sending her off to a new pose.

Matching the cape or cardigan color to something already in the dress reads better than grabbing whatever sits closest in the row, since matched colors seem to move her mood faster than clashing ones. Saving the tiara for last and checking it against the finished hairstyle keeps a crown from sitting oddly over loose waves. Watching her expression after every single category, not only after the dress, catches small shifts a pair of earrings alone can cause.
