Sonic Dress Up

Spiky blue hair and a pair of red sneakers are usually already on the character when Sonic Dress Up opens, so the first move is deciding what to change first, whether that's the jacket or the shoes. Clicking a sneaker swaps the color and the lacing style at once, and the character's stance stays mid-stride the whole time, like he's ready to bolt the second the outfit locks in.

The rack splits into jackets and vests built for movement, like a zip-up track jacket or a sleeveless hoodie, paired with cargo pants or athletic shorts underneath. Shoes get their own row, from classic high-tops to chunky running sneakers, and a gloves section adds fingerless pairs or full mitts. A back panel holds extras like a ring accessory, a headband, or tinted goggles, and most jackets layer open over a plain undershirt so the base color still shows.

The angle this dress-up game takes is speed: several pieces come with a streak or motion-line effect that only shows once the character is posed, so the finished look often reads differently in a still shot than it does mid-pose. A round wraps up with a runway walk or a final pose screen, and the outfit locks in as the finished result.

Match the sneaker laces to the jacket trim, since a clashing pair reads as thrown together even when the rest works. Keep goggles or a headband on the head instead of stacking both, since the two options usually compete for the same space. Try the sleeveless hoodie over shorts for a look that reads faster and lighter than a full jacket and pants combo.
