Privacy, and children's privacy
Last updated 3 September 2026
The short version. We do not ask for your name, your email, or your age, and there is nothing to sign up for. Your favorites and your recently-played list are stored in your own browser and never sent to us. We set no cookies at all, which is why this site never asks you to accept any. The games themselves are served by other companies — that part is described below.
Who we are
DressUpLand is a browser games site operated at dressupland.com. You can reach us at contact@dressupland.com about anything on this page.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. There is no account system, no login, no newsletter, and no form on this site that asks for personal details. We never ask a visitor's age.
Stored on your device, not on our servers
Two features use your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never transmitted to us:
- Favorites — the games you have starred.
- Recently played — the last handful of games you opened.
Clearing your browser's site data deletes both. Because they never leave your device, we cannot see them, export them, or link them to you.
Server logs
Our host, Cloudflare, records standard request information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) in order to serve pages and block abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Analytics
We use three analytics tools to understand which games people play and how the site is used: Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. It sets no cookie, writes nothing to your browser's storage and does not fingerprint your device. It reports totals — page views, which pages are popular, roughly where in the world visitors are, and what kind of device they used.
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in order to recognise a returning browser and to group your page views into a visit. We have switched off Google Signals and advertising personalisation, which means Google may not use your activity here to build a cross-device advertising profile, and we ask Google to shorten your IP address before storing it. We use it for traffic sources and for the path visitors take through the catalogue.
Microsoft Clarity sets cookies and records an anonymised replay of your visit — where you moved the pointer, what you scrolled past, what you clicked. Clarity masks text you type. We use these recordings only in aggregate, to see where a page confuses people. We do not use them to identify anyone.
We also count which games get started. When you press play, your browser sends us the name of that game and nothing else — no cookie, no account, no identifier of any kind, and we do not record your IP address alongside it. Two people who play the same game are indistinguishable in what we keep. We use it to decide which games to feature and which to retire, because a page view alone cannot tell us whether anyone actually played.
If you would rather send nothing at all, any ad blocker or your browser's tracking protection will stop all of the above, and you can clear the cookies these tools set from your browser's settings at any time. The games work exactly the same either way.
Between 5 September 2026 and 9 September 2026 this site used Cloudflare Web Analytics alone, and Google Analytics and Clarity were absent. If you accepted or declined the cookie banner that appeared here before 5 September 2026, that choice is no longer stored and no longer has any effect.
The games, and advertising
We do not host the games. Each one is loaded in an iframe from the distributor the developer publishes with — currently GameDistribution, GameMonetize and GamePix. When you press play, that distributor's servers see the request, and their advertising partners (principally Google) may serve advertising inside the game frame. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
The advertising sellers authorised for this domain are published, as the industry standard requires, at /ads.txt.
Children
Dress up and makeover games are played by children, so we treat this whole site as directed to children rather than trying to guess who is on the other end.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
- Advertising is requested as non-personalized. We do not permit behavioral profiles or interest-based targeting to be built from visits to this site.
- There is no chat, no messaging, no user profile, and no way for one visitor to contact another.
- We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any to sell.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, write to contact@dressupland.com and we will delete whatever we hold.
Other things loaded by our pages
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses.
- The distributors' image CDNs serve each game's cover art. We link to their images rather than re-hosting them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a site holds about you. In our case the honest answer is that we hold none — but write to contact@dressupland.com and we will confirm that in writing, and tell you which third party to approach for data held by them.
Changes
If we add a partner or change what is measured, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
