Anime Girl Dress Up 2021

The screen opens on an anime girl standing against a plain pastel backdrop, already wearing a simple default outfit so you have something to change. Panels of clothing icons line the edges, grouped by type. My first move was the hair, since the default style was pretty plain. You tap an icon and the change applies instantly on the model, so there is no guessing what a skirt looks like until you commit.

The wardrobe covers the usual bases for this kind of character creator: several hairstyles with color swatches, school uniforms, dresses, skirts and tops you can mix, stockings, shoes, and a row of accessories like bows, glasses and small jewelry. Most pieces layer the way you would expect, so stockings sit under a skirt and a bow sits on top of whatever hairstyle you picked. Skin tone and eye color have their own tabs near the front, which is easy to miss if you start clicking outfits right away.

The unusual part is how much control you get over the anime styling itself rather than just the clothes. Eye shape, expressions and background scenes can all be swapped, so two players starting from the same outfit end up with completely different characters. A round ends when you are happy and take a screenshot of your finished look to keep or share, since there is no score or runway judging you.

To get a result that actually reads well, work top to bottom: hair first, then face and expression, then outfit, then accessories last. Pick a uniform or dress in one color family and match the bow and stockings to it, since clashing pinks and blues fight on a small model. And change the background before your final screenshot, because the default wall makes even a strong outfit look flat.
