Claire Learns Culinary Skills

Claire starts in plain clothes standing at a counter with a mixing bowl and a cookbook propped open nearby. The first pick is usually the apron, since it goes on before anything else and immediately sets the color scheme for the rest of the look. Claire Learns Culinary Skills keeps the kitchen as a backdrop while the actual choices stay in the wardrobe menu.

The toolkit runs through apron, headwear, footwear, hair and a prop slot. Aprons come in patterns like gingham, polka dot or a solid color with a front pocket, and each one layers directly over whatever shirt sits underneath. Headwear switches between a tall chef hat and a plain bandana, hair pulls back into a bun or a low ponytail to fit under either one, and clogs or flat kitchen shoes finish the feet. A wooden spoon or a small pastry can be dropped into her hands as the last touch.

What separates this dress-up game from a closet or bedroom version is the setting itself, a kitchen counter standing in for the usual vanity or wardrobe room. A round ends with Claire posed at the counter, apron, hat and prop all in place, looking ready to start cooking instead of heading out the door.

Pair a patterned apron with a plain headwear choice, or the other way around, since two busy patterns at once tend to clash under the kitchen lighting. Pulling the hair back before trying on the chef hat keeps loose strands from poking out around the edges. The prop slot is easy to skip since it sits at the end of the menu, but a wooden spoon or rolling pin in her hand finishes the scene better than empty hands.
