Tap a category like eyeshadow and a row of shades appears, and the model's eyes update as soon as you pick one. There is no time pressure, so it is easy to undo a bad shade with one tap and try again. Dress-up & Makeup treats the face as half the job, which changes how you plan a look.

The makeup kit has the layers you would expect: foundation tones, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner styles, mascara, eyebrow shapes, and lip colors in matte and gloss finishes. The closet side has dresses, skirts, tops, and shoes, plus accessories and hairstyles. Pieces apply on top of each other in a sensible order, so lipstick goes over the lip shape and jewelry sits over the neckline. Switching a dress does not wipe your makeup, which matters more than you would think.

What separates this makeover game from the usual single-look dress-up is that the makeup stays in play while you change clothes, so a smoky eye can push you toward a black dress you would have skipped otherwise. A round ends when you are happy, and you can save the finished look as a picture to keep or redo. That saved image is the goal, and getting one you actually like takes a couple of passes.

Pick the lip color before the eyeshadow, since lips anchor the face and eyeshadow is easier to adjust.
