Forest Boutique Tailor opens with a young customer at the counter, and has you take her measurements before you touch a single swatch. A tape stretches across her shoulders, waist and hem, and the numbers you land on decide which pattern pieces will actually fit. Only once that's locked in does the fabric wall open up, rolls of gingham and felt waiting in a rack behind the counter.

The toolkit splits into fabric, trim and finishing touches. Fabric comes in bolts of cotton, corduroy and a soft plaid, each one swappable across the same base pattern. Trim covers buttons, a row of scalloped lace and ribbon ties, added on top once the main piece is cut. A shelf of finishing pieces, a leaf-shaped brooch, a knit collar, a pair of buckle shoes, sits off to the side for the very last step, and everything layers over what came before it.

Most shopping-spree games hand you a finished rack and ask you to pick outfits off it. This one has you build the outfit from raw fabric instead, so the fit and shape change with each customer who walks in. A round ends when the customer tries the finished piece on and walks out through the boutique door, and the shop resets for the next child in line.

Matching the trim to the fabric print reads better than piling on every accessory the shelf offers. Cutting a plainer fabric works in your favor when the trim is busy, since a scalloped lace edge gets lost against a print that's already loud. It helps to check the measurements again before committing to a pattern piece, since a size that's slightly off leaves a visible gap at the shoulder seam.
