What is Home Scapes?
You start Home Scapes in a bare little room with one character standing in the middle, waiting on a first outfit and a first piece of furniture. Pick a couch or a rug and the room fills in around her; pick a dress and she's ready to match it. The two choices sit right next to each other on screen, so an outfit decision and a room decision end up shaping the same scene.
The toolkit splits into a closet side and a room side. Clothing runs through cropped jackets, pleated skirts, graphic tees and knee-high boots, sorted into tops, bottoms, shoes and accessories the way most closets are. The room side works the same way, with wallpaper, flooring, a couch, a shelf and small props like a lamp or a plant, each layer sitting on top of the last so a rug doesn't erase the flooring underneath it.
What separates this dress-up game from a straight closet game is that the room keeps developing alongside the outfit, so by the end you're not just judging a person, you're judging a person in a space that took just as many decisions to fill. A round wraps once both sides feel finished and you're left with one paired image: an outfit and a home that were built at the same time.
Working one wall or one outfit slot at a time keeps the palette from turning muddy, since a warm rug and a cool couch fight each other visually. Matching a wood tone across the flooring and one piece of furniture reads as more finished than matching every color exactly. Swapping accessories last is worth it too, because a necklace or a wall clock is easier to judge once the bigger pieces are already in place.
