Princess at the Shopping Mall

The game opens on a princess standing in front of a mall directory, and your first job is picking which store to visit. Tap a storefront and you slide into a shopping screen where items sit on shelves or racks, one piece per spot. You tap an item to see it up close, then add it to your bag. The princess stands in a corner of the screen the whole time, so you can watch how each purchase might suit her before you commit.

The stores split the shopping into categories: a boutique full of ball gowns and shorter party dresses, a shoe store with heels and sparkling flats, an accessory shop with tiaras, necklaces, and little handbags. Hair styles and colors are in their own section. Pieces layer in the usual way, shoes under the hem of the dress, jewelry on top, so you can mix a gown with a casual clutch if you want the contrast.

The twist is that you shop before you dress. In most princess dress up game titles the whole closet is open from second one, but here every look has to come out of what you bought, which makes the spree part of the challenge. When your budget or your patience runs out, you head to the fitting area, put the full look together, and the round ends with your princess posed in her new outfit.

Work in order: dress first, then shoes, then accessories last. A pastel gown with one bold piece of jewelry reads better than piling on everything sparkly. Check the fitting screen before you finish, because a necklace that looked fine in the shop can clash once the hair goes up.
