The twist is that makeup comes first in the flow, not last, so the color of your eyeshadow ends up steering everything else you choose. The round ends with a saved look, a finished portrait of your unicorn that you can keep as a photo. It plays like a gentle character creator crossed with a makeover game, and the payoff is that single saved image.

Pick a lip color first and build around it, since it anchors the whole palette. If you choose a braid, sweep the mane detail tab for a highlight shade that matches your eyeshadow. And check the wing color slider, which is easy to miss; nudging it toward your dress shade makes the whole silhouette read as one outfit.
