The first screen is a shopping street viewed from above, with a small kid character at the bottom and storefronts lined up across the top. Before anything else the game asks you to pick a skin tone and a base outfit, and both appear on the character the second you tap them. There is a coin counter in the corner, which tells you right away that the spree has rules.

Each store is its own wardrobe category: one for tops, one for shoes, one for accessories, one for toys. The stock is kid-sized and specific, so think a striped tee, rain boots with frog eyes, a backpack shaped like a bear, a backwards cap. In the accessory shop things stack, so glasses sit over the face and the backpack goes over the jacket, though most outfit slots are single-pick like a regular dress up game.

The shopping sprees are the hook here. You get a budget, the stores stock different items each round, and you have to decide between the one expensive piece you love and three cheap ones that mix well. When the spree ends, a puzzle round starts where the items you bought matter, and finishing it wraps the day with your character shown off in the full look.

Do the math before you walk into the first store, because overspending on day one starves the later rounds. A bright top with plain solid bottoms almost always reads better on the small character model than an all-pattern outfit. And check the clearance rack at the back of each store; the cheapest items there are often the ones that layer with everything else you own.
