Two separate toolkits run side by side: a decorating set with wall paint, flooring, mirrors and a styling chair in different finishes, and a makeover set with haircuts, nail colors and simple outfits for the client. Furniture pieces snap to fixed spots in the room, while hair, nails and clothing layer directly onto whichever client is currently in the chair.

The decorating half is the part most salon games skip entirely, since they usually hand you a client and nothing else, but here the room itself is a project alongside the person in it. A round in this makeover game ends once both the salon and the client are finished, and the camera pulls back to show the whole space at once.

Layer the room's color scheme before touching the client, since a cool-toned salon reads oddly against a client dressed in warm colors. Matching the chair fabric to the client's outfit pulls the two halves of the screen together. The mirror decoration is easy to skip past, but it reflects whatever style choice you make last, so it is worth placing before the final look.
