Oscar Red Carpet Fashion

The screen opens on a model waiting under soft camera flash lighting, with a category bar along the bottom. First pick is the gown, because everything else keys off it. Tap a dress and it appears on the model instantly, so you can flip through silhouettes fast. A quick bar at the top previews a before-and-after look at any point.

The wardrobe splits into gowns, hairstyles, jewelry, makeup, shoes, and a clutch or bouquet. Gown types run from a sequined mermaid cut to a flowing tulle skirt, with gloves and a fur stole as extras. Hair ranges from a sleek updo to loose Hollywood waves. Makeup has a red lip, a smoky eye option, and blush you can layer lightly. Earrings and a necklace both sit on the model at once, so you can pair a choker with drops or leave one bare.

The twist in this makeover game is the red carpet finish: when you are done, the model walks a short runway with flashbulbs going off, and the game takes a photo of the moment you can save. That walk pushes you to pick pieces that move well, since a heavy train or a swinging skirt shows on camera. A panel of photographers at the end gives the look a reaction too.

Work in this order: gown, then shoes, then hair, because a high neck reads better with an updo and a strapless cut likes loose waves. Pick one statement piece, either big earrings or a bold necklace, not both. Before the runway, tap the camera preview icon in the corner, since it zooms close and catches makeup details you miss from the full view.
