Live Star: Doll Dress Up

The screen opens on a bare-faced doll in a plain leotard, waiting on a first decision before anything else loads. The first tap usually lands on skin tone, and once it's set, the face options that follow, from eyeshadow to lip color, are built to work with that tone, which tells you right away that Live Star: Doll Dress Up builds outfits around the face, not the other way around.

The toolkit splits into tabs for face, hair, and outfit, each one stacked with small variations instead of a handful of big swaps. Eyeshadow comes in cream, glitter, and matte finishes; hair ranges from a sleek high ponytail to loose waves with a side part; outfits run from a sequined jumpsuit to a cropped bomber jacket over a slip dress. Everything layers, so a chosen top stays visible under a jacket instead of disappearing.

What separates this from a straight makeover is how much of the face itself is up for grabs before any clothing goes on, putting it closer to a character creator than a quick costume swap. A finished look saves as a portrait shot of the doll, framed like a poster for her next show, pairing a built face with a built outfit instead of a preset combo.

Working face-first pays off: settle on skin tone and eye color before touching hair, since both change how every wig color reads against her skin. Match the eyeshadow finish to the outfit's fabric, glitter shadow next to sequins, matte shadow next to denim, so the sparkle level looks planned. The zoom button near the face panel is easy to miss, and it's the only way to line up lipstick and liner precisely.
