The first thing on screen is a 3D doll standing on a plain turntable, already wearing a basic top and shorts so you can see how the body moves. You pick a category from a side menu, then tap a thumbnail and the change appears right on the model instead of on a flat preview. Tap a hair color and the strands shift instantly. You can rotate the doll with a drag to check how a tail or skirt looks from behind, which matters more than you would think in Styledoll.

The wardrobe splits into the usual sections: face, hair, tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories. Because the tags lean mermaid and magic, there are scaled tails, fin earrings, glowing hair shades and sparkly tops sitting next to everyday pieces like a cropped jacket or simple sandals. Hair comes in long waves and braided styles, and you can usually layer an accessory over a tail without it clipping off the model.

The twist is the third dimension. Most dress up games show you one flat pose, but here the doll turns, so a fin or layered skirt reads as an actual object. A round ends when you save or export the finished avatar as a picture, which means your look has to survive every angle, not just the front.

Work in an order: skin and face first, then tail or legs, then hair, then accessories last so nothing gets buried. Spin the model after every big piece, because side details hide in the front view. If a hair color fights with a top, pick the top first and match the hair to it. And check the feet area once the tail is on, since shoes sometimes need swapping out for fins.
