Lovely Doll Creator

The first thing on screen is a blank doll standing in the middle of the page, with category tabs lined up along one side. You start with the face, since nothing else looks right until you settle it. Tap an eye shape and it snaps onto the doll instantly, so you can flip through a dozen pairs in seconds. Lovely Doll Creator works the same way for every category: pick, see it on the doll, keep it or move on.

The toolkit covers the whole doll. Eye shapes and colors, skin tones, blush, lip color, and a stack of hairstyles from short bobs to long curls with accessories clipped in. Below that sit the clothes: tops, skirts, pants, dresses, socks, and shoes, all layered, so a tee goes under a jacket and tights go under a skirt. There is also a decorating section with backgrounds, furniture, and small props that fill the space around her.

The twist here is that the doll does not stand alone. Most character creators stop at the outfit, but this one lets you decorate her surroundings too, so a finished doll sits in a room you built instead of on a flat backdrop. When you are happy, you save the finished look as a picture with the doll and her scene together.

To get a result worth saving, pick the hairstyle before the clothes, because big hair changes what necklines and collars read well. Match one color from the outfit to one prop in the room so the scene feels connected. And check the layering tab after adding a jacket, since it sometimes covers a top you actually wanted to show.
