You mix the food first. Batter goes in a bowl, color drops turn it pink or mint, and the tray comes out as cupcakes, macarons and swirled ice cream cones. Those pieces are the clothes: a skirt of frosting layers, a donut belt, a candy horn, hair the shade of cotton candy.

Then the character creator side opens up. Skin tone, eye shape and horn length all shift, and the wings come in glitter or pearl. A last screen sets the plate, sugar clouds behind her, sprinkles across the floor, a cake stand to pose on. The food you baked earlier is the outfit, so one batch of mint frosting decides the whole color scheme.
